Speech Language Pathology

We help students with language development, early literacy and effective communication skills. We support staff to adapt educational programming and help develop targeted and practical interventions.

We can help by:
  • Completing phonological awareness and literacy screens;
  • Assessing speech and language skills;
  • Providing intervention in how students say their sounds;
  • Helping with language - what students say, hear, understand and write;
  • Supporting students with the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication.

In the Classroom, we can:
  • Help with reading skills like rhyming, sound awareness and blending;
  • Help with listening, talking, reading and writing;
  • Help you learn different ways to explain what you know.
