Occupational Therapy

We use observations and assessments to help make school environments accessible and positive learning spaces for students. We recommend specialized equipment and train staff to support students with mobility, assistive technology and sensory needs.

We can help by:
  • Training staff for lifts, transfers and repositioning;
  • Assessing fine and gross motor, sensory and visual processing skills;
  • Supporting self-regulation in the school environment.

In the Classroom, we can:
  • Help you get your mind and body ready to learn;
  • Help you develop strength and coordination;
  • Show ways to speak and listen so you can be understood.
