Schools are centres of learning excellence. Schools can also serve as centres for social, health and other services for children, families and communities.

When schools are not being used for educational purposes, they may be made available to groups and individuals for community use provided that such use does not interfere with regular school activities. Application for use of school facilities is to be made to the principal at least one week in advance using APF - 9030.1: Application and Authorization for Facility Use Form.
